The TFM Story The Fashion Movement (TFM) is a multi-faceted FASHION events production and marketing company based in Tampa, Florida. Our mission is to provide a forum where Designers of garments and accessories, Models, Artists, Performing Artists, Hair Stylists, Make-up Artists and other visionaries in the fashion and creative arts fields can promote and market their brands. Since its inception, The Fashion Movement has prided itself as an organization that produces high quality, energetic and upscale fashion events starting throughout New York City and presently in Tampa Bay. Founded in November of 1995 by Lacey B. Smith, TFM has helped launch the careers of Designers, Stylists, Models, Photographers and continue to positively affect the careers of emerging fashion visionaries. The Fashion Movement's first production was held at one of Ney York City's most renowned restaurants, LOLA. "Fashion Movement" as the event was themed, received positive press reviews being featured on Fox New York City "Good Day New York"; thus “The Movement” was born. The Fashion Movement continues to build and create alliances amongst fashion industry professionals in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
