This was the first annual Haute, accessory fashion show in the Tampa Bay Area. The creator, Lacey Smith knocks it out of the ballpark with this event kicking off the month of fashion.
Bottles clinked and voices murmured excitedly. Stylists and assistants flowed in and out among the crowd, curlers and flat irons in hand. Models with bright, neon shades of pink and green in their hair stood in one corner, wearing full-length protective smocks bearing the name Irina Bilka.
Inauguration of Annual “Eye on Fashion” Competition to Showcase Talents Tampa, FL – March 2012 – The Fashion Movement announced the launching of the “Eye on Fashion” Stylist Competition which will be held on Friday, March 30 at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts located at 400 N Ashley Drive, Tampa, Florida. This will be the largest event thus far at the museum’s new location.
The much anticipated “Eye on Fashion” the fashion stylist competition crowned a winner tonight in an event celebrated at the Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) in downtown Tampa.
The Fashion Movement was born in a place that inspires much modern fashion – New York City. Twenty years later, in February 2005, TFM founder Lacey B. Smith brought the movement to Florida.
In only a few days, the fashion and style community in Tampa will don their dressy wedge sandals, pull on their linen pants and bare-ankled loafers, or choose brightly colored sundresses that go with (not match!) their bags.
